Cave du Roi Dagobert Racines et Terroirs Riesling 2019, Alsace A.C., France: Cave du Roi Dagobert Racines Et Terroirs 2019 Riesling is a great value, dry, medium-bodied Alsatian Riesling under $20. Look for fresh green apple, Meyer lemon and soft orange citrus zest on the nose with a spritz on the palate. Drink: 2022-2028. 15383 13% D 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 90/100. December 3, 2022 Best Value White Wine. Voluptuous Veal Wine Full Review
La Pieve Barolo 2009, D.O.C.G., Piedmont, Italy: This full-bodied red wine offers enticing aromas of dark fruit, tar, toasty and spice. Barolo wines are rarely priced this affordably, so give this this Piedmont, Nebbiolo-based grape wine a try. The tannins are firm and there will be plenty of fruit here to bring balance. A real gripper but I like it! Big, black with a tarry streak through the middle. Black cherry resistance and some dark spices. Perfect for black magic nights. Drink: 2014-2018. 213132 15% XD 750 mL  $39.95 Score: 92/100. January 4, 2014 Best Beef Wine Full Review
Hacienda López de Haro Crianza 2009, Rioja D.O.C.A., Spain: A smoky, full-bodied Spanish red wine with dried herbs, dust and earth. Not fruity. Smooth and offering a long finish. Classic. Leather aromas, love it. Drink: 2014-2019. 377481 13.50% XD 750 mL  $15.95 Score: 89/100. August 16, 2014 Best Value Red Wine. Magnificent Meat Pizza Wine Full Review
