Errázuriz Aconcagua Costa Pinot Noir 2019, Aconcagua Costa D.O., Chile: Aconcagua Costa (2019) Pinot Noir is always a crowd favourite! Elegant and rich with juicy tannins throughout, the PN grapes for this vintage were grown in the winery's estate, 15 year old, Mansanar Vineyard in the region of Aconcagua Costa. Only 12 kilometres from the Pacific Ocean, the cool maritime on-shore breezes influence the even ripening of the grapes. 10% of the wine saw elevage in egg-shaped concrete vats with the balance of the wine aged for one year in previous use French oak barriques. Vibrant on the palate with bright red berry, cherry, fresh mushroom, fine herb and spicy flavours on the palate. Nice now, but the wine will continue to evolve over the next few years. Drink or hold.
