Balbás Crianza 2016, Ribera del Duero D.O., Spain: From the Ribera Del Duero wine region, Balbás Crianza 2016 is aged 18 months in French and American oak barrels and is produced from estate-grown old vine Tempranillo. Fragrant on the nose with dark plum, cherry, leather, cocoa and spicy aromas. Beautifully balanced with ripe blackberry, earthy florals, cocoa, pepper spice and stony mineral flavours wrapped up with a whiff of smoke. Nicely done! Enjoy with a grilled steak and mushrooms.
