Gladiator Primitivo Di Manduria 2008, D.O.C., Puglia, Italy  23119 14% D 750 mL  $15.95. September 17, 2010 Full Review
Shafer Vineyards One Point Five Cabernet Sauvignon 2007, Stags Leap District, Napa Valley, California, United States: I’m in love and his name is Shafer! How can I count the ways? Maybe the blackberry-black currant fruit? The smoke and judicious weave of oak? The incredible length that leaves you whimpering for more? Who knows. This winemaker is merciless. Drink: 2011-2018. 45476 14.50% D 750 mL  $203.00 Score: 94/100. October 15, 2011 Top Rated Red Wine. Full Review
Robert Mondavi Winery Baron Philippe De Rothschild Opus One Cabernet Sauvignon 2005, Napa Valley, California, United States: A beautiful expression of Cabernet elegance, structure and length, this flagship wine was created through a collaboration between the Mondavi family in California and Baron Rothschild of Bordeaux. Today, it still towers above most wines in its craftsmanship and longevity. Aromas of black fruit, pencil, violets, cloves, leather and mesquite smoke. I have also reviewed the regular 750 ml size for this wine in this release. 26294 13% XD 375 mL  $189.95 Score: 94/100. February 14, 2009 Favorite Red Wine. Full Review
Beringer Private Reserve Chardonnay 2007, Napa Valley, California, United States: Loaded with flavour yet not heavy at all. Bursting with hazelnut, green apples, peach and Asian pear. I can’t think of a better wine for lobster dipped in butter or fresh corn on the cob with a pat of butter melting over it. 26682 14.70% D 750 mL  $44.95 Score: 93/100. July 10, 2010 Favourite White Wine (Tied). Full Review
Seghesio Home Ranch Zinfandel 2009, Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, California, United States: Dense with rich concentration and pleasure, Black cherry and raspberry wrapped in smoky oak. Drink: 2011-2019. 70391 15.50% D 750 mL  $80.00 Score: 92/100. September 17, 2011 Full Review
