Fragrant with hazelnut, dried citrus aromas; the wine is dry, medium-bodied and vibrant with lemon custard, russet apple, toasted nut and briny mineral flavours juicy on the palate. A notion of how the name of the grape came about is from the Italian word "nocciola" (hazelnut) which could be in reference to the grape's characteristic toasted hazelnut aromas.
