This Pinot Gris is medium-bodied with racy acidity for shellfish. Aromas of lemongrass and lime. It was fermented in stainless steel tank and was aged briefly on its lees. Lawson's Dry Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2018, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Produced by Ross and Barbara Lawson who have been grape growers since 1980, and winemakers since 1992. This winery is part of the Family of Twelve, a group of a dozen artisanal wineries, six of which are from the North Island and six from the South Island, that was founded in 2005. This vibrant white wine was barrel-fermented in the Marlborough wine region. Look for herbal-grassy notes, mouth-watering acidity and a lime citrus lift on this juicy SB briefly barrel-aged for added creaminess and finesse.
