Hester Creek Estate Winery Pinot Gris 2019, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia BC V.Q.A., Canada: A terrific, vibrant BC white wine from Hester Creek. This Pinot Gris is medium-bodied with racy acidity for shellfish. Aromas of lemongrass and lime. It was fermented in stainless steel tank and was aged briefly on its lees. Errázuriz Aconcagua Costa Sauvignon Blanc 2018, Aconcagua Costa D.O., Chile: Love this cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc from the Aconcagua Costa wine region. Fragrant with fresh herbs, green peas, lime and fresh melon aromas on the nose. Dry, medium-bodied with fresh herbs, mouth-filling lemon-lime zest and a lingering briny mineral finish. Love the fragrant dark cherry, smoky and spicy nose on this toothsome red. Juicy with dark cherry, dried berry, meaty, spicy and mineral flavours vibrant on the palate. Lawson's Dry Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2018, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Produced by Ross and Barbara Lawson who have been grape growers since 1980, and winemakers since 1992. This winery is part of the Family of Twelve, a group of a dozen artisanal wineries, six of which are from the North Island and six from the South Island, that was founded in 2005. This vibrant white wine was barrel-fermented in the Marlborough wine region. Look for herbal-grassy notes, mouth-watering acidity and a lime citrus lift on this juicy SB briefly barrel-aged for added creaminess and finesse.
