Marchand-Tawse Pinot Noir 2014, Burgundy A.C., France: A very seductive nose of black cherry and violets. Smooth, supple and almost full-bodied with great richness on the palate. Aromas of sour cherry, cranberry and wild tart blackberry. Good acidity for smoked salmon or grilled chicken. Produced by a joint venture between Moray Tawse, of Niagara's Tawse winery, and Burgundian winemaker Pascal Marchand.
