Rotllán Torra 2011, Priorat D.O.C.A., Spain: This Spanish Crianza is savoury and juicy with great complexity and depth. Smooth and full-bodied with lusciously ripe and fleshy dark berries. If you haven't tried many wines from the Priorat region of Spain, this is a great place to start. This wine needs no coaxing out of the glass. Decant for 1-2 hours. This full-bodied red wine pairs well with steak. The 2011 vintage of this full-bodied Spanish red wine is a blend of 35% Garnacha, 35% Mazuelo and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This wine is matured for 12 months in American fine grain oak barrels from Tennessee and spends a minimum of another year in bottle before being released from the winery.
