Momo Pinot Gris 2015, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: This spritely organic wine makes my mouth water just smelling it! Lovely white peach and melon with mouth-watering acidity for food. Very refreshing as an aperitif or companion to many dishes from seafood to salads. Classic aromas and flavours here for a cool climate region. Some toasted almond on the finish. Great wine for potluck gatherings and barbecues -- think grilled veggies and Portobello mushrooms. Yum! Momo is the second label of New Zealand's Seresin Estate, and the quality shows in the glass of this zesty, organic Pinot Gris. A fresh finish with terrific food versatility.
