Domaine De La Madone Le Perréon 2015, Beaujolais-Villages, Burgundy, France: Produced by Jean Bérerd & Fils, this jubilant almost full-bodied French red wine spills over with bright red berry fruit and spice. Terrific replays of fleshy raspberry on the palate and finish of this mouth-watering juicy wine made from the Gamay grape. The 2014 vintage is smooth and juicy with black raspberry and cranberry notes. The winery cropped back the leaf canopy on the vines to ensure better ripening and waited to harvest until October. Lovely deep garnet hue in the glass. Racy and spicy. Pair with Tex-Mex, cold cuts, mild curries and spices. Drink: 2016-2018. 981175 13% D 750 mL  $15.95 Score: 91/100. November 26, 2016 Best Value Red Wine. Remarkable Roast Chicken Wine Full Review

Piccini Villa Al Cortile Rosso Di Montalcino 2013, Tuscany DOC, Italy: A savoury, tannic Italian red wine that's redolent of violets, leather and truffles. Pair with wild boar and game dishes.
