Fielding Estate Winery Unoaked Chardonnay 2016, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: A full-bodied Niagara Chardonnay with some smoky notes even though it's not oak aged. Crisp with green apple goodness and sun-dappled white peach. Lovely. Don't overchill. Lively and surprisingly aromatic as often unoaked cool climate chardonnays are fairly subtle.
