Joseph Cattin Pinot Gris 2016, Alsace A.C., France: The Cattin family has been making wine in Alsace since the 1850s. The lovely white wine finishes with green apple and baking spices. Perfect for Indian dishes, especially mild to medium spicy ones. A classic Alsatian Pinot Gris with spiced peach aromas and flavours. This off-dry French white wine from the northern region of Alsace won a Gold Medal at the 2013 Concours Général Agricole wine competition in Paris. Peach and wet stone aromas mingle on the nose in a hedonistic blend. Refreshing zesty acidity on the palate as an aperitif or with cold chicken sandwiches. Pair with pate or foie gras. Syrah Rosé 2010, A.C., Luberon, Rhône, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Pale salmon-pink with lively aromas of spring flowers, strawberry and cherry. Dry, medium bodied and with plenty of mouthwatering acidity. There is also a touch of tannic influence that adds nice balance. Lovely tangy red fruit flavours with floral and herbal notes. Domaine Des Carteresses Tavel Rosé 2013, Cotes Du Rhône A.C., France: Field fresh raspberries greet you on the nose followed by some watermelon and red grapefruit. This is truly liquid refreshment, with a lovely sunset thrown into the glass as extra. This is a wide-ranging and all-embracing rose that will please many people, but especially you. This is why Tavel is known for producing the best roses in France. Try it with cold cuts, pate or as you watch dying embers in a campfire.
