Trapiche Malkina 2014, Mendoza, Argentina: This pretty pink Argentine wine smells and tastes like fresh field strawberries with a dollop of rhubarb preserves. It's an off-dry blend of 50% Malbec and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Serve chilled as an aperitif or companion to seared seafood like salmon. Drink: 2014-2016. 406587 13% MD 750 mL  $12.95 Score: 87/100. October 2, 2015 Best Value Rosé Wine. Scrumptious Seafood Wine Full Review
1865 Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2013, Leyda Valley, Chile  375212 13% D 750 mL  $18.95. June 19, 2014 Full Review
Nino Negri Sfursat Val Tellina 2004, Lombardy D.O.C.G., Italy: This is made with 100% Nebbiolo. Doesn't taste as alcoholic as it is, but it's full-bodied. Big red fruit and smoke notes. Drink: 2008-2010. 304591 16% D 750 mL  $46.25 Score: 90/100. October 25, 2008 Top Rated Red Wine. Full Review
KWV Kwv Sauvignon Blanc 2008, W.O., Western Cape, South Africa: Vintages Wine Panel: South African Sauvignon Blancs have been coming on strong in recent years, giving the Kiwis a run for their money. This fresh 2008 is an excellent value. Look for aromas and flavours of fresh-cut grass, green peas, grapefruit and tropical fruit as well as a crisp backbone of acidity and a lingering finish. A great wine to buy by the case and have around in the warmer months ahead. My note: A terrific SB for the money! Grassy goodness wrapped with in mouth-watering notes of limes, lemons and green apples. Terrific aperitif or food companion. 662718 13.50% XD 750 mL  $17.30 Score: 87/100. January 9, 2010 Best Value White Wine. Full Review
