The Black Chook Shiraz 2011, Mclaren Vale, Padthaway, South Australia, Australia: Aromas of blackberry preserves, blackcurrant jam lusciousness with some mint. Layers and layers and layers of pleasure. Eyes closed kinda wine. Some violets and cedar on this finish. Highly recommended. Loaded with fleshy ripe dark berries and vanilla spice from toasty oak aging. Good mouth-watering acidity on the palate leads to a clean finish. Pair with a juicy steak. Drink: 2014-2018. 66738 14.50% D 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 91/100. February 8, 2016 Best Value Red Wine. Luscious Lamb Wine Full Review
