Ricossa Superiore Barbera D'asti 2007, D.O.C., Piedmont, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: Barbera may be given the Asti appellation Superiore designation only if it has been aged in oak casks or barrel for at least one year. This wine was created with the cuisine of Piedmont in mind. My note: Absolutely and divinely delicious! Full-bodied and packed with purple plum extract followed by fleshy blackberries and blueberries. Supple and so enticing. Great price. Drink: 2010-2015. 70839 14% XD 750 mL  $16.95 Score: 90/100.
