Saint-Roch Vieilles Vignes 2012, CĂ´tes Du Roussillon, Midi A.P., France: This is a towering French red wine from the southern winemaking region of the country. Incredibly awesome price. Aromas of fleshy black fruit, tar, toasty oak and smoke. The vines grow in black slate and schist soil, are old vines, grapes are hand-picked with low yields and dry grown (no irrigation).
