Castello di Querceto Chianti Classico 2011, Tuscany, Italy: Baked earth, sun-dried tomatoes and dried cherries. Smoky, smooth and full-bodied. Needs food with its mouth-watering character - try pasta in tomato sauce or dishes with a zing or tang. This full-bodied red wine is mostly made from the Sangiovese grape with a splash of Canaiolo grapes. Lovely long finish on this DOCG designated wine by Alessandro François. Drink: 2013-2016. 680496 13% XD 750 mL  $24.95 Score: 89/100. January 18, 2014 Perfect Pasta and Tomato Sauce Wine Full Review
