La Chablisienne Saint Bris 2014, Burgundy A.C., France: Pure green apple vibrancy and intensity of flavour with mouth-awakening acidity. Medium-bodied and fresh. This Burgundian white wine made in the Village appellation of Auxerrois is unusually made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape, which is lesser known than Chardonnay and far fewer wines are made from it in Burgundy. It nonetheless is superb. Enjoy with fresh oysters. Drink: 2014-2017. 641753 12.50% XD 750 mL  $20.95 Score: 88/100. July 11, 2015 Best Value White Wine. Full Review
Eugen Altschuh Pinot Noir 2015, Pfalz Qualitätswein, Germany: A lovely German Pinot Noir with aromas of fleshy ripe black cherry, raspberry and cola. Lirica Di Manduria Primitivo 2007, Puglia D.O.C., Italy: Robust with black and purple plum liqueur concentration and depth of flavour. Yet this is bone dry and complex and layered. Cafe Culture Pinotage 2016, Western Cape, South Africa: Very, very coffee, espresso and mocha from the nose to the finish. You'll adore and abhor this style, but you need to try it at least once. Pinotage made in the coffee style has become a cult favourite. This isn't sweet but it beats coffee spiked with anything and has lower alcohol when compared to Bailey's etc. Pair with coffee-rubbed meats.
