Masserie Pisari Primitivo 2013, Salento Rosso, Puglia I.G.T., Italy: A delicious, full-bodied red at a great price. Lots of complexity and richness here with aromas of black plum and blackberry. A nice long finish. Primitivo from Italy, like this one, and Zinfandel from California are the same grapes. Pair with meat lovers' pizza or hamburgers.
