LYV Rosé 2023, Pays D'oc, Languedoc I.G.P., France: From the Pays D'oc, Languedoc wine region, LYV 2023 rosé is a dry, medium-bodied and stylish Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah red wine blend, fresh and fruity with bright red berry, strawberry, subtle spicy flavours and a mineral kiss silky-smooth on the palate. Alvear Solera 1927 Pedro Ximénez, Montilla-Moriles D.O.P., Spain: This lovely sweet-style Pedro Ximenez Solera 1927 Sherry is not vintage dated but does have some wine from the 1927 vintages blended in. Dark-hued, rich and complex with aromas of fig jam, molasses and espresso. Great dessert wine. Pedro Ximénez food pairings: blue cheeses, salted nuts, Florentine.
