Domaine Poulet & Fils Tradition Clairette De Die Sparkling, Rhône A.P., France: From Domaine Poulet & Fils, Tradition Clairette De Die is produced in the Méthode dioise ancestrale from hand-harvested grapes and is a blend of 75% Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains and 25% Clairette Blanche. The wine is fresh, fruity and a pretty pale yellow in the glass with aromas of apple/pear compote, floral, nutty and citrus flavours sweet and vibrant on a fine mousse. Château Grand Village 2021, Bordeaux A.C., France: Château Grand Village 2021 is a dry, medium-plus-bodied and zesty blend of 74% Sauvignon Blanc with the balance in Sémillon. Grapes were hand-harvested and a portion of the wine (50%) produced in stainless-steel tanks with 30% in second use French oak barrels and the balance in new French oak barrels. The final blend spent eight months in oak barrels. Elegant and complex with green apple, ripe stone fruit, tropical fruit, lemon zest and minerally, wet stone notes matched with brilliant acidity and finishes long.
