Dear Natalie, |
January 7, 2011 | Did you know that 28.9% of relationship breakdowns in the new year are due to wine shopping conflicts? I was as surprised as you look now.
In these tragic situations, one partner wants great taste while the other wants to tighten the budget post-holidays.
Fortunately, there is a way to stay together.
If you're the cheapskate in the relationship, go to Best Value Red Wines (or White Wines), print out the list or access it on your mobile phone, go to your closest liquor store ... and don't let your big spender see the ridiculously low prices.
(Total candor in relationships is over-rated.)
I've also included tips and a video on pairing wine and cheese in this newsletter so that you can entertain friends without having to make them a multi-course meal, which of course, would eat up all your savings with the wine choices.
Let me know how it goes ... and happy new year!
