Dear Natalie, |
August 5, 2011 | Don't you love these long days of summer when you can sit with a good glass in hand and a thick book in the other? And no one can tell if your eyes are closed behind those sunglasses...
Among my best wine picks there are some incredibly delicious and well-priced carmenere, syrah, pinot noir and sauvignon blanc from Chile as well as some stunning chardonnay and cabernet/merlot blends from BC.
Wondering which wines pair well with fresh summer seafood? Try the Drinks Matcher with 123 seafood dishes, each paired with a variety of wines in stores now.
My heartfelt thanks to Holly Bruns, Ottawa, and Peter Vetsch, Calgary, our featured wine bloggers last week who, between them, contributed more than 150 new wine reviews to the site.
I'd also like to give a warm welcome to this week's new featured bloggers: Vera Czerny, Vernon, and Gary Killops, Kingsville. They've already posted 106 reviews: check them out!
