Molly Amoli Shinhat reviewed this wine as follows:

This utterly glorious, painterly-like wine, in the glass looks like a luscious red ruby for a picture, about to be created. I spent many minutes just looking at it swirling in my glass, in the windows of Buyers + Cellars Tasting Room.

On the nose, (once I stopped looking at it!), it gave smoke, cedar, and yes, not rose, but a rosebud note.

This wine comes from Feravino's Dika line. A Croatian word, like the wine and the winery, "dika" translates as pride.

On the palate, it gives rich red cherry, black cherry, wood, earth, and a cranberry note with high acidity, medium tannins, and a long finish. I couldn't find the precise residual sugar, but with 13.5% a.b.v., it's made to dry.

Some call Frankovka, an indigenous varietal, the Pinot Noir of the East. These grapes come from Fericanci, a Croatian village where winemaking goes back at least to the 13th century. Five centuries later, Cistercian monks from NaĊĦice brought about a renaissance in winemaking.

A delicious food-friendly wine, it's perfect for feasting, whether the feast is at midnight, Thanksgiving, or Christmas.

Available at BuyersandCellarsdotca 7 days a week.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
