Reverse Wine Snob reviewed this wine as follows:

This is a dry, thin, below average Malbec. We found it be a bit sour and are somewhat mystified about the popularity of this one. Luckily we drank it while watching a really good movie (Secretariat) so all was not lost. Because we were able to get this one for only $7.99 it will just barely get a Second Chance rating, but if you have to spend more than that, our advice would be to Skip It.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
