Matt Steeves rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Benjamin Bridge is increasingly becoming a top recommendation for Canadian Sommeliers when customers are looking to enjoy a premium sparkling wine with a delicious meal. Produced essentially the same way as Champagne, with all the labour intensive rituals, craftmanship, and care, it's no wonder why wine lovers around the world are getting excited about the high quality products that Benjamin Bridge are producing each and every year.

The 2008 vintage has what it takes to be the best on record for Benjamin Bridge and from my early sample of both the Brut and Brut Reserve I can say that it has produced what I believe to be the finest Canadian sparkling wine I've ever tasted. The 2008 Brut is slightly more fruity, but still an extra dry style, than the 2008 Brut Reserve, which when coupled with its lower price tag should make for a wine that won't last long on store shelves, but will age well in your cellar for a few years if you're able to snatch some up before it's gone. A beautiful copper-gold colour, showing its richness and the benefits of four years of ageing on its lees, this is a serious wine that will surely be loved by many. The nose displays sweet stone fruit, almond croissant, and green apple. Mouthwatering micro bubbles create the perfect environment for pairing with rich foods, and a long tart pear and green apple finish leaves your mouth refreshed and thirsting for that next sip.

Keep your eyes peeled for what this trail blazing Nova Scotia-based winery is on track to achieve over the next decade.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
