Reviews and Ratings

Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Black fruit, barnyard and forest notes on the nose with plum, coffee, herbs and some black cherry on the palate. Nice acidity and soft tannins give the wine a beautiful finish.
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Deep opaque red with violet tinged edges. Rich, powerful bouquet with aromas of baked fruit, cooked with herbs and spices. Cherry fruit preserve and cinnamon are the major components in a long-lasting and attractive finish.

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Rouge opaque foncé avec des bordures marquées de violet. Bouquet riche et puissant avec des arômes de fruits cuits avec des herbes et épices. Les conserves de cerises et de cannelle sont les éléments principaux du fini long et attrayant.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
