Reviews and Ratings

Claude Décarie reviewed this wine as follows:

Donné par Deborah
A blend of 80% sangiovese, 15% canaiolo nero and 5% syrah; aged for one year in tonneaux and barriques, 15% new; 14.5% alcohol. Good medium red. Enticing aromas of red cherry, violet, red rose and cinnamon. Very fresh and light on its feet, with pure, perfumed flavors of red cherry, rose and tobacco. Finishes wonderfully long, smooth and minerally. This perfumed wine really reminded me of nebbiolo! Score: 91 Source: Ian D’Agata, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
