Heather Wall rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

60/40 Gamay Noir and Pinot Noir in this red blend from the Niagara Bench. These two cool climate performers have been beautifully crafted for easy drinking and pairing. Ripe Spring berries, floral and sweet cigar box on the nose. This light-bodied red has some smoothing tannins and cleansing acidity. Candied cherry, underbrush, warm spices and herbs de Provence round out the flavours. Lingering berry notes on the finish. Very pretty wine and terrific value. Easter Dinner wine.
Tasted: April 2017

Natalie's Review

Thirty Bench Winemaker's Blend Double Noir 2015, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: This is a vibrant blend of 60% Gamay Noir and 40% Pinot Noir grapes to create a medium-bodied, supple, smooth Niagara red wine. Notes of sour cherry and cranberry. This wine is aged in French oak barrels for 10 months. Ripe tannins and lots of acidity for tomato sauce dishes. Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
