Vintages Wine Panel: Gigondas is one of the Southern Rhône’s warmest areas, so even in marginal vintages it has the ability to make robust wines. In a year such as 2007, it can do it without breaking a sweat. This example proves the point with its great concentration and its intense aromas of black cherry, plum and spice that all brilliantly replay on the palate. Dry, full bodied, and perfectly constructed with a long, luxurious finish. This is the real deal for either your cellar (8+ years) or your dinner table tonight. My note: Deep, rich and concentration with blackberries and cherries, vanilla smoke and spice. Lavishly textured with full-bodied weight. Spectacular with any meat dish.
