Reviews and Ratings

Meg Charette - WSET ADV rated this wine as 81/100 with the following review:

Fresh granny smith apple being the most prominent note in this Monterey County Chardonnay. Candy apple, melon, lemon zest and tootsie rolls on the nose, while the palate shows fresh, crisp granny smith apple, apple skins, almond skins and toasted walnuts. A touch of oiliness on the tongue, with tart acidity on the cheeks, medium body, with a long finish of apple skins.
This Chardonnay from Monterey County, California is balanced with good weight on the palate. There is a lovely roundness on the wine, rich yet not heavy. This is exactly how beautifully balanced, affordable Chardonnay should taste. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
