Natalie's Score: 93/100 Love this weirdly wonderful wine! Aromas of apple cider and yellow plum. A biodynamic and organic wine made from small lot parcels of the winery's estate vineyards with a wild yeast ferment on stems and skins grapes. Seductive amber colour. It's bottled cloudy and free of sulphites. Terrific acidity for fresh seafood. If you're curious about the new orange wine trend, try this one. Pair with free range chicken.
Orange Wine food pairings: fresh and bloomy rind cheeses, white bean spreads, pasta with cream sauce, white finned fish and roast chicken.

Reviews and Ratings
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: Orange zest, persimmon skin, kumquat and ginger fill out this wine. Weird and fun. 90 points (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: Orange wine with tannins lots of black tea and steminess. Lemon citrus, tart underipe apples and lightly oxidized pears. Aromas of pickles, wet socks and the perfect amount of funk! Spicy bergamot mandarin orange and lemon peel with a touch of lingering tannins High acidity, medium body and finish. Delicious, dry and different! Pair with hummus, a hemp blanket, patchouli perfume and a weekend at a hippy commune. 90 points - tasted November 2017
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: Funky and tasty. Aromas of unsweetened Earl Grey tea (lot of bergamot!) and citrus rind, along with some blood orange. Slightly tannic, I really felt like i was drinking an unsweetened citrus iced tea with a hint of bret and some nutty notes. Treat this like a sherry or an apperitif and enjoy with charcuterie, almonds, hard cheeses, and olives.
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review: Baking spices, citrus peels, and orange flowers and nectar sweetness on the nose. The aroma feels so sweet that you will be surprised by the extra dry, crisp, and mildly tannic mouthfeel which displays earthy and fruity notes. Very interesting wine. Score 87. (S.Segard, reviewed March 2017).
Valérie Dufour - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review: How to say no to an orange wine, I am a New Democrat after all! Lightly troubled (it is a bio wine that is not filtered) coppery robe that look like a whiskey. You smell the oxidization on the nose with aromas of lilies. If you don't know the type of wine, you might think it is faulty, because the bitterness is strong in the mouth and the sensation in the mouth is more like when you eat grapefruit than if you eat a pear. But it is an interesting product with great acidity and a complex body. Versatile in a sense that you could pair it with a poultry, a plate of cheeses or a very sweet desert like tiramisu.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review: Pale orange with funky tea-like tannins, sharp acidity and serious burnt orange/orange zest, toasted nuts and something akin to sherry. Pull it out for your hipster friends - very cool!
Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review: An interesting take on vidal! On the nose, it smells like unsweetened iced tea and has a brownish-orange hue. It is incredibly acidic and a has grippy pull from the stems it is fermented with. But what an interesting flavour. That unsweetened iced tea is still there, with a hint of lemon, a slightly floral aspect. Clean lemony finish.
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review: My first orange wine. Aromas of tea and unusual fruit flavours. Might be a good choice for a hot summer day on the deck
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review: My first orange wine! Cloudy amber colour. Bouquet filled with tea and cantaloupe. Very dry on the palette, with hints of apricot. I'd pair with a cheese platter that had come nuts and dried fruit to compliment to flavours. Tasted March 26, 2017
Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 82/100 with the following review: This rose is made of 100% Vidal. Clear gray/orange color with aromas of tea and apple. The wine is fresh and short on the palate. That's an excellent wine for happy hour with your friends. This wine is ready to drink now.
Dan Carkner reviewed this wine as follows: Wild fermented with the skins and stems, biodynamic, unfiltered, sulphite free. Should be straight forward right? Wildly perfumed, hints of bretanomyces, acetic notes. Not your everyday wine. Sure to be found at exclusive wine bars that search for uniqueness, this offering may not be for everyone, but wont disappoint if you're tired of the usual. Floral, honeyed tangerine and lemon, green apple, and cider can be found on the palate with a light body, gripping acidity, and (!) some tannic structure. Try it so you can say you liked it before it was cool.
