Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Big and bold, juicy ripe red and blackberry with mouthwatering acidity. Solid structure, fine medium tannins , integrated medium alcohol. Ready to enjoy now. Pair with a rare steak. Medium plus finish with persistence of blackberry, pomegranate, blueberry. Tasted 2014 vintage decanted 2h in March 2018. 91 points #crowdpleaser
Colette Martin rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Appearance : Dark Ruby, clear
Aromas: Dark berries, cassis, vanilla and sweet tobacco
On the palate: Dark cherry, plum and cassis, smoky, leather and tobacco
Full bodied
Nicely balanced with lots of tannin, would be great with pepper steak.
Long finish of dark fruit, smoke and tobacco
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby and opaque with a full, fruity bouquet. Blackcurrant, bramble, stewed strawberries and hints of mocha. Flavours are very full featuring dark plum, black cherry, roasted red peppers and bramble stems. Full bodied and well balanced. This is an excellent match for a plump juicy steak or herbed pork tenderloin. 90 points - Tasted March 11, 2018
