Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This wine shines with authentic Italian tomato rich dishes and thin crust pizza. Chiselled and rustic, balanced with great acidity, medium fruit and medium tannins. Medium finish with persistence of tart cherry and a hint of leather. Rated 89/100.
Colour: strong purplish color.
Nose: red fruits, with hints of strawberry; warm woody note.
Taste: full-bodied, yet velvety structure; barrel ageing increases the wine life and enriches it with typical barrel toasting aromas, roast coffee, vanilla and chocolate.
