A lovely, supple BC Pinot Noir with fruit sourced from the Century Block, so named for the 100 different species of apples that were once planted where 1,200 vines are today. The wine was aged in new French oak for 12 months. Aromas of fleshy ripe black cherry and plums ith spice and smoke. Medium-bodied and smooth. Pair with veal.

Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This is an amazing Pinot Noir with a few years on it yet! On the palate, the wine is dry, medium-plus-bodied, lush, supple, richly-layered with ripe black cherry, plushy plum, savoury herb, nutmeg, ginger spice flavours balanced with good acidity, finishing long, smooth and smoky with velvety, rounded tannins. Produced from Pinot Noir clones 667 and 777 sourced from the Century Block, once an orchard of 100 different apple species. This vintage was aged 12 months in French oak barrels and only 63 cases produced. Tasted November 2020.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Lovely balance! Aromas of cherry, strawberry, earth, smoke, tobacco, and warm peppery spice. Medium bodied, bright acidity, with vibrant berry on the palate, and the warm, smoky and spicy notes coming through more on the lengthy finish. Delicious and could be paired with anything from salmon to chicken or turkey, or grilled veggies.
