Reviews and Ratings

The Gunderloch Fritz’s Riesling illustrates the greatness that can be achieved as a result of combining the
Old World with the New. The wine is a collaborative effort between Canada’s Mark Anthony Group and
the German winery Gunderloch, who worked together to realize their vision of a premium Riesling that
would be made exclusively for the Canadian market. Riesling is Germany’s most celebrated grape, and
the wine name was crafted by Fritz Hasselbach, who is one of Germany’s most celebrated winemakers.
Hasselbach has earned the distinction of being the only winemaker to have ever received a perfect 100-
point score for not just one, but three, of his wines by Wine Spectator. In creating the Gunderloch Fritz’s
Riesling he has again proven that he is a winemaker of exceptional skill.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
