Love the sense of humour with this winery's labels and names. This Bordeaux (Bordello) blend (brothel) of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes is beautifully balanced and luscious. Aromas of black currant and dark plums with spice. Only 641 cases produced. Although this weighs in at 14.5% alcohol, the wine can handle it and it comes off supple, smooth and polished. Pair with naughty dishes and scoundrels.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Luscious and velvety! This Bordeaux-type blend includes Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Aromas of currants, plums, and blackberry, with some leather and spice. Full bodied, with lots of ripe fruit on the palate and smooth mouthfeel. Enjoy this cheekily named wine with a decadent steak.
Julian Park rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Cases produced: 641. This 14.5% alcohol wine is a big Bordeaux blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc that delivers rich flavours of black pepper, blackcurrant, violet and leather. The tannins are as soft as velvet so drink now.
