Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Loads of black briar, black plum skin, vanilla, linzer, and a hint of fresh herb. What a great steal. 91 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The Crapula Gold 2013 comes from the less known region of Jumilla in Spain. Made from 50% Monastrel and 50% Syrah, this wine shows aromas of deep plum sauce, blueberry, black pepper, leather, sweet tobacco and vanilla bean. This excellent wine evolves to a nice balance, coupled with a great full body. Its finish will provide an infinite choice of food pairing and will please the amateur of Spaniard style of wine. Palate: blackberry jam, plum, black pepper, leather, allspice, cigar and oak. Enjoy.
A powerful and muscular Spanish red wine blend of 50% Monastrell and 50% Syrah grapes. with a ripe blackberry nose and toasty oak aromas. Layers of dark-berry fruits, plum, oak and vanilla spice flavours on the palate. Tannins are firm. Pair with grilled game sausages. - Community Wine Reviews
