Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A blend of Sangiovese (90%) and Merlot (10%) - a big, bold Italian red with lots of dark fruit and oak on the nose. The palate is rustic - earth, blueberries, black cherry, spice and a touch of vegetal . Perfect with a tomato based pasta dish.
Tenuta Sette Ponti Crognolo (2015) is a rustic, full-bodied and bold Italian red with lots of toasty oak. The blend for this wine is Sangiovese and Merlot with ripe cherry, raspberry and sweet spice on the palate. Drink now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews
