Natalie's Score: 89/100

This full-bodied southern French red wine is a blend of Grenache and Syrah, grapes that thrive in the warm, dry conditions of the Campo de Borja region. The Grenache vines are 15-30 years old and the Syrah vines are 10 years of age. Lots of fleshy black fruit and toasty oak. Pair with grilled meats.

Food pairings: grilled farmer's style pork chops, slow-cooked pork ribs, crown pork roast.

Reviews and Ratings

Borsao Bole (2014) is a robust, deep red 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah red wine blend from the Campo De Borja, Yecla wine region. This is a great value wine under $20. Look for smoky cherries and ripe raspberries flavours on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews
