Spy Valley Envoy Sauvignon Blanc 2016, Waihopai Valley, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: From Johnson Vineyard, Waihopai Valley, Marlborough wine region, Spy Valley Envoy 2016 Sauvignon Blanc is dry, medium-bodied and complex with layers of white-fleshed stone fruit, ginger, fine herb and lemon-lime zest flavours. Grapes were barrel-fermented, and the wine was matured on its lees for 11 months in oak barrel giving this delish SB, creamy, rounded with flinty mineral notes long and fresh on the palate.
