Gunderloch Fritz's Riesling 2021, Rheinhessen Qualitätswein, Germany: Gunderloch Fritz's 2021 is an excellent value Riesling Qualitätswein (QBA) from the Rheinhessen. Such a joyful Riesling, zesty with bright yellow apple, honeyed stone fruit, orange blossom and citrus zest flavours tangy and fresh on the palate. Winemaker and owner Fritz Hasselbach produces this Riesling that is named both for him and for a comic book character that is well-known in Germany. The winery was founded in 1890 and the grapes were sourced from prestigious vineyards in the Rheinhessen that feature Roter Hang (red soil).
