Simi Chardonnay 2021, Sonoma County, California, United States: Simi 2021 Chardonnay is an elegant and food-friendly Sonoma County Cali Chard. Dry, full-bodied and fresh with tropical fruit, apple, citrus cream, vanilla, baking spice and sweet toasty oak spice flavours with lovely buttery notes fresh and zesty on the palate. Beautifully crafted, chill and enjoy it on its own or with a roast chicken dinner. Grapes were sourced from vineyards in Alexander Valley, Sonoma Valley, Russian River Valley, Dry Creek, and Sonoma Coast. Simi was founded in 1876, and the cellars that were built in 1890 are still in use today. This vintage was awarded Gold at the 2023 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
