Sparkling Wine

Chronos Sparkling Brut, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia V.Q.A., Canada: From Time Family of Wines, Chronos is a brut bubble made in the Charmat method and produced from 80% Chardonnay with the balance in Pinot Noir all sourced from British Columbia's Okanagan Valley wine region. Each varietal was fermented separately with some lees stirring on the Chardonnay. Bright and zesty with a persistent, fine and toasty mousse showing fresh apple, citrus zest and white-fleshed stone fruit flavours vibrant on the palate. Produced by Sébastien Branger from the Loire, this is a bone-dry, medium-plus-bodied, vibrant Melon de Bourgogne white wine with grapes hand-harvested from 35-plus-year-old vines. The wine overdelivers and is rich and textured with ripe apple, pear, citrus curd and a leesy mineral bite. Chill and enjoy with freshly steamed shellfish dishes.
