Natalie's Score: 87/100

Distinctive raspberry candy drops notes on the nose and palate. Nice price, and very festive. This wine is riddled, just as they do in Champagne (rémuage) with the bottles turned by hand periodically so that the lees (sediment) gently and slowly collect in the neck. Pair with potato chips and oysters.

Sparkling Rosé food pairings: grilled salmon, seafood bites, spring greens salad.

Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

An attractive glass of fine bubbly, salmon coloured. Lively on the tongue, raspberry on the palate with a bit of an apple finish. I found it be slightly off-dry. Pleasant finish. I would definitely enjoy this again.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A very pretty bottle, pinkish salmon in color with lovely fragrant notes coupled with flavors of fresh raspberry, wild field flowers and peaches. Off-dry, slight acidity.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This lively bubbly pours with a deep apricot appearance. Aromas and flavours are dominated by peach and floral notes. I find it off-dry and lacking in acidity and complexity. Tasted Jan 2017 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
From Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa, Krone Cuvee Brut (2016) is a sparkling rosé blend of 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay made in the traditional method. The blend rested 10 months on its lees to increase creaminess and structure. - Community Wine Reviews
