Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Good value for a Napa Chardonnay. 90% was fermented in French oak barrels of which 40% was new. Not over oaked at all, just a star performer at this price and classically delicious. Try with pasta with grilled scallops and lemon butter. @wrightwineblog
Jisun Hahn CAPS Certified Somm rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This Chardonnay has a gorgeous texture that is both round and luscious. The flavours are enveloping with creamed corn, baked apple and ripe yellow pear. The finish lingers with hints of lightly toasted marcona almonds, lemon zest and butterscotch. I would pair this wine with any creamy pasta dish but would be heavenly with my favourite, a plate of cacio e pepe (heavy on the cacio of course).
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Presenting a medium-gold wine in the glass, this oak-aged Chardonnay presents dried lemon and floral aromas. A gentle but persistent acidity with a smooth finish makes this ideal for a wide variety of food pairings. Try soft and medium cheeses, roast chicken or sushi.
Duckhorn 2016 Chardonnay is a classic Napa Valley Chard, full-bodied, rich and creamy on the palate with ripe red apple, pears, tropical fruit and toasted nut flavours on the palate. For this vintage, wine grapes were sourced from Carneros, Napa and Oak Knoll wine regions. Pair with a veal Porterhouse. - Community Wine Reviews
