François Villard Mairlant Saint-Joseph Syrah 2020, Saint-Joseph, Rhône A.C., France: From Saint-Joseph, Rhône wine region, François Villard Mairlant 2020 Syrah is a dry, medium-plus-bodied and vibrant Rhône red, fragrant with spiced cherry, fresh dark berry, violet and pink floral aromas with anise, smoky vanilla and minerally flavours finishing long on the palate. Tannins are pleasantly chewy, and while it's very good now, it will be better in 2026 as it continues to evolve and come together. Drink through 2034.
